In 1961, Seiju Ifuku turned his Army cooking experience into a dream, opening Rainbow Drive-In. With passion, grit, and unwavering determination, Seiju built something special: a place where the community could gather over simple, comforting meals served with aloha.
Today, his grandson, Chris Iwamura, proudly carries on that legacy as Rainbow Drive-In’s third-generation CEO. For Chris, it’s more than just running a business—it’s honoring his grandfather’s vision and sharing the warmth of a family tradition that’s been feeding Hawai‘i’s hearts and bellies for over 60 years.
