HR & Safety Training Catalog
Our Educational Services and Risk Management Team has been developing talent and creating safer workplaces since 2006. Over the decades they’ve helped tens-of-thousands of local businesses become better and safer.
Registration & Fees
simplicityHR seminars, training modules, and customized training services are available to owners, employees, and authorized contacts of active simplicityHR clients.

- Choose Human Resources or Safety Seminars; If your selection is Safety, then select a Region or Virtual classes,
- Enter the company contact information and the first registrant names and contact information
(You can add additional attendees up to 10 for the same set of classes or a variation of the set.) - If you need to select a different Island, course category or month, you’ll need to start over and submit another form.
- Complete the registration form by clicking submit. You may also email us at training@altres.com.
You can expect a response to your registration submission(s) within 48 hours. If you have not received a registration response, feel free to email our Education Services Department directly at training@altres.com.
- Part of our simplicityHR Advantage Service Plan includes providing training services to you and your employees at no cost when possible or, if cost is involved, at the lowest price.
- All Risk & Safety training classes are provided at no additional cost to clients under the simplicityHR Advantage Plan.
- The Supervisor Certificate Series is included at no additional cost to you as a simplicityHR Advantage plan client.
- Please contact us for Advantage pricing.
- Additional fees may apply for highly customized content and delivery needs.
- The Options Plan training and materials fees are the same whether the participant comes to a seminar scheduled at our ALTRES office or we bring the content to your business.

Generally, there are no additional fees for the trainer to come to your business.
A fee will be assessed for cancellations with less than 48 hours notices. For cancellations of highly customized/on-site seminars with less than 48 hours’ notice, we reserve the right to charge an additional setup or travel fee.

- We present the entire Supervisor Certificate Series repeatedly throughout the year to accommodate busy schedules and bring new hires up to speed.
- We present CPR/AED Certification, First Aid, GHS/Hazard Communication, General Safety, Fall Protection, and Stress Management as well as our COVID-19 Response courses continually throughout the year. All other safety training courses must be coordinated directly with our Safety Department via email at safetytraining@altres.com
Any of our training content may be presented at a time and location of your convenience. Please contact our Education Services Department for more information at training@altres.com or 808-591-4924.
- The Supervisor Certificate Series seminars are two (2) hours each. The entire series of six (6) classes is a total of 12 hours.
- Our Diversity & Sensitivity in the Workplace seminar may be customized and presented to your general staff in 1 or 2 hours. The supervisor versions of each includes additional content.
- The Professional Skills Advancement (PSA) Series seminars are two (2) hours each. The entire series of three (3) classes is a total of 6 hours.
- Safety seminars range in length from one (1) hour to full-day (eight hours) sessions.
Yes, our CPR/AED, First Aid and Healthcare Provider classes count towards CEU’s.
HR Consultations are short conversations you have with your HR Specialist. Training classes are educational sessions scheduled with a trainer.
Supervisor Certificate Series
- Supervisor Certificate Series Classes #1 and #2 are free.
- Supervisor Certificate Series Classes #3 to #6 are $90 per person, per seminar.
- The Options Plan training and material fees are generally the same whether the participant attends virtually or in-person. However, please contact our training team at training@altres.com to discuss your needs, as there may be travel and customization fees that apply.
No. Participants may attend the classes in any order at any time.
No. Participants may choose to attend 1 or 2 classes in a single day.

- The complete series is offered every quarter, with 2 dates being offered each month virtually, and 1 date in-person each month at our ALTRES office in Honolulu.
- We present the entire Supervisor Certificate Series repeatedly throughout the year to accommodate busy schedules and bring new hires up to speed.

Customization & On-Site Training
Yes, we do offer training customization options. Additional cost for customized material may vary based on your simplicityHR Plan. We will be happy to have the Education Services Department follow up with you.
We are happy to bring the knowledge to you! Our trainers can present our most popular seminars, in their original format or customized, at your business location with a minimum of 5 participants. For highly customized training, seminars are subject to travel and customization fees.
We are excited to offer training at your business site, as well. However, additional fees may apply for travel and customization.

Diversity & Sensitivity in the Workplace is our most popular on-site training class. The goal is to significantly impact behavior and to prevent or stop harassment behaviors in the workplace. Diversity & Sensitivity in the Workplace is designed to help individuals appreciate differences, find common ground, reinforce respectful behaviors, and cooperate more fully.
