Our client is seeking a hard-working individual to join their auto shop team as the Store Manager. This position will be in charge of running the store and its employees. Duties of this job include serving customers by providing merchandise and services, supervising and training staff, coming up with marketing strategies, and keeping track of financial expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
  • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Determine marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventory.
  • Secure and protect merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
  • Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in online training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in retail management or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in supervisory a role.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Customer focused and result driven.
  • Detail oriented, multitasker and team player.
