$18 an hourResponsibilities
- Perform general secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties including typing, data entry, and filing.
- Coordinate and arrange all nursing meetings, new hire orientation, and in-services.
- Coordinate and oversee residents, dental, and podiatry visits.
- Maintain and distribute staffing schedules, including holiday schedules.
- Monitor changes in scheduling needs and update staffing schedules accordingly.
- Contact staff and contracted nurse agencies to provide staffing coverage.
- Ensure agency credentials are up to date and maintain agency cost tracking and invoice processing.
- Post staffing census at nursing admin office and on the units daily.
- Provide support and communication between Nursing Services and other departments as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Take and transcribe meeting minutes for Licensed Staff and Certified Nursing Assistants meetings.
- Prepare and submit reports, projects, letters, and signs to the Director of Nursing Services.
- Utilize HR Symphony for staffing, generating schedules, and inputting changes regarding employee status.
- Assist with staff/agency compliance and attendance for all regulatory trainings.
- Assist in the orientation of new Nursing Services employees, including preparing new hire orientation schedules.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll preparation by adjusting time clock punches and entering notes from Time Clock Correction and Call Out slips.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in database entry and medical office administration preferred.
- Training in office skills such as computer, typing, and filing.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
