Automotive Parts Sales Representative

Our client is seeking an experienced salesperson to join their team as an Automotive Parts Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for selling, promoting, and providing support for tires, tubes, foam fill, and related service equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of sales experience and 2 years of customer service experience.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

• Sell, promote, and provide customer support for tires, tubes, foam fill, and related services and equipment.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in customers.
• Solicit new prospects, identify potential customers/clients, and seek out new business.
• Set goals, track sales, and identify areas for growth of locations.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned.
• Operate in a safe manner and comply with all safety protocols.
• Learn and grow in your career by working alongside experienced salespeople, attending trainings, and advancing knowledge of tires.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the tire industry, automotive industry, or related field. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Inventory Software systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow strict safety standards.
• Ability to bend, sit, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
