Pay

$85,000 to $95,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute fundraising strategies (individual giving, grants, corporate partnerships, and special events).
• Build and manage relationships with current and prospective donors.
• Oversee the research, writing, and submission of grants to support programs and operations.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson, maintaining the organization’s public image.
• Oversee marketing campaigns to increase community engagement, attendance, and membership.
• Lead social media, email marketing, and website strategies.
• Manage media relations and secure press coverage.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of the annual budget.
• Supervise the audit process and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage employee recruitment, training, retention, and professional development.
• Cultivate a positive organizational culture that fosters respect and accountability.
• Ensure the maintenance and safety of facilities and physical space.
• Collaborate with the President and Board to set and achieve financial goals.
• Develop and implement a 5-year facilities and exhibits strategic plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a non-profit or related leadership roles.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, and corporate partnerships.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
