HR Generalist

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and support their workforce by ensuring a productive and harmonious work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing workplace issues, developing new policies, and supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies of the company.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of progressive HR experience with a broad understanding of HR functions in Hawaii and be proficient with HRIS and other HR-related software.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$65,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Lead HR aspects of organizational change efforts and provide support during transitions. 
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies of the company.
• Address workplace issues, mediate disputes, and promote a positive work environment.
• Align HR strategies with business goals to support organizational success.
• Identify employee development needs and coordinate learning programs.
• Develop and implement effective HR policies and programs.
• Foster employee engagement and alignment with company vision.
• Ensure policies are applied consistently and in compliance with labor laws.
• Guide performance review processes and provide coaching to employees and managers.
• Update and communicate HR policies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with a broad understanding of HR functions in Hawaii.
• Proficiency with HRIS and other HR-related software.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
