Program Manager

A local company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their Honolulu team. This role will oversee program initiatives, bridging the gap between stakeholders, engineering, and QA teams to develop impactful software and systems. This role will also define requirements, manage product backlogs, and drive projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in program management, business analysis, or product management roles.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate high-level business requirements into actionable program objectives and system specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to develop clear product roadmaps and specifications.
• Lead user research efforts to identify feedback for process and product improvement.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs to align with company goals and strategic initiatives.
• Support the implementation of software and system solutions, including payment processing and digital platforms.
• Train and provide technical support to end users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
• Spearhead professional development sessions to promote team alignment with culturally relevant strategies.
• Develop and deliver detailed project reporting requirements and maintain clear communication with leadership.
• Utilize wireframing and prototyping to streamline project planning and execution.
• Maintain compliance with agile methodologies and best practices for program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, computer engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in program management, business analysis, or product management roles.
• Previous experience in managing project for cloud or enterprise software systems, including payment processing platforms.
• Background in HR systems is preferred.
• Experience with MySQL, GraphQL, or ReactJS is a plus.
• Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and system design.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TFS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
