Warehouse / Inventory Manager

A local contracting company is seeking a Warehouse / Inventory Manager to join their team and handle the day-to-day duties of the warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring employees, maintaining warehouse operations, and preparing an annual budget.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of warehouse management experience, be forklift certified, and have a valid driver's license.

Full-time, 7:00am-3:30pm

Location

Sand Island, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$48,000 to $52,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
• Prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, and analyze variances.
• Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of inventory controls.
• Knowledge of warehouse management procedures.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Available to work extended hours.
