We are seeking a medical receptionist to support a healthcare team by managing patient records, processing physician orders, coordinating pre-admissions and transfers, and handling communication with families and staff.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:15am-3:45pm

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$17 to $20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Update and organize patient charts.
  • File patient paperwork.
  • Maintaint compliance with record-keeping procedures.
  • Review and process orders, including medications, treatments, and dietary changes.
  • Prepare necessary forms for labs, tests, and other medical requests.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate transportation.
  • Draft correspondence and assist with report preparation.
  • Manage calls, messages, and visitor inquiries.
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Prepare requisitions for repairs and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare administration or related fields highly preferred.
  • Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in healthcare.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other general office equipment.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA standards highly preferred.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Offer of employment contingent upon passing a state/federal background check, pre-employment drug test, and must clear a 2-step TB Test.
