We are seeking a medical receptionist to support a healthcare team by managing patient records, processing physician orders, coordinating pre-admissions and transfers, and handling communication with families and staff.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:15am-3:45pmLocation

$17 to $20 an hourResponsibilities
- Update and organize patient charts.
- File patient paperwork.
- Maintaint compliance with record-keeping procedures.
- Review and process orders, including medications, treatments, and dietary changes.
- Prepare necessary forms for labs, tests, and other medical requests.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate transportation.
- Draft correspondence and assist with report preparation.
- Manage calls, messages, and visitor inquiries.
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Prepare requisitions for repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare administration or related fields highly preferred.
- Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in healthcare.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other general office equipment.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA standards highly preferred.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Offer of employment contingent upon passing a state/federal background check, pre-employment drug test, and must clear a 2-step TB Test.
