Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receive and handle calls/inquiries relating to power outages, trouble, and property damage
  • Utilize communication equipment to relay information
  • Temporary 12 month position

Full-time, M-F 7:30-4:30, weekends and evenings when necessary

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and relay important information
  • Performs timekeeping, typing, filing, logging, data entry and other clerical work
  • Provide clear directions and explanations to the field personnel, customers & contractors

Qualifications

  • Minimum two or more years of call center customer service experience and/or equivalent training
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have internet access and excellent computer skills.
  • Familiarity with data base maintenance
  • Previous experience in fast paced work environment
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to diffuse emotions and handle irate customers
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM
  • Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
