Our client is seeking a temporary Call Center Representative to join their team and handle any calls and inquiries related to power outages, trouble, and property damage. This is a temporary position that will last about 1 year.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (weekends/evenings as needed)

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

Obtain and relay important information.
Perform timekeeping, typing, filing, logging, data entry and other clerical work.
Provide clear directions and explanations to the field personnel, customers & contractors.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum two or more years of call center customer service experience and/or equivalent training.
Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment.
Familiarity with database maintenance.
Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM.
Must have internet access and excellent computer skills.
Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to diffuse emotions and handle irate customers.
Ability to pass pre-employment state and federal background check and drug test.
