Wire Transfer and Settlements Specialist II

A reputable bank is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Wire Transfer and Settlements Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of wire transfers and settlements.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of previous wire transfer processing and settlements experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 to $25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Input, verify, approve, release, and ensure notification of outgoing and incoming Federal Reserve, SWIFT, and Internet payments.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of all transactions.
• Process domestic and international wire transfers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to wire transfers and settlements.
• Monitor and reconcile settlement accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external financial institutions to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in wire transfer processing and settlements within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of FX rate structure and currency operations.
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, UCC4A, Reg E, and other consumer protection regulations, and industry, ethical, or fiduciary practices or standards.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
