A local shipping store is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team and assist with safely shipping packages. In this role, you will sort incoming mail, assist walk-in customers, and package and ship items for customers ensuring that they arrive safely to their destination.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and preferably have previous experience with cash handling and POS systems.

$20 an hourResponsibilities
- Operate the Cash Mate POS system.
- Answer phones and assist walk-in customers.
- Sort incoming mail and packages efficiently.
- Organize packages, flats, magazines, and letters in designated bins.
- Place corresponding delivery slips in mailboxes accurately.
- Package and ship various items for customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with cash handling and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
- Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
- Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Pre-employment State and Federal background check required.
