A reputable local company is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their team. In this role, you will assist with managing the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow processes.
The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business and have 10 years of relevant experience.

$130,000 to $140,000 a yearResponsibilities
- Supervise accounting team and provide leadership.
- Create, document, and enforce accounting procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and ledger maintenance.
- Manage quarter-end processes, including reconciliations and variance reviews.
- Lead initiatives to improve workflows and team productivity.
- Support peer controller roles as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
