HR Service Center Representative

A reputable local company is seeking a HR Service Center Representative for a temporary position that will run through February 2025 with potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries from employees, retirees, and external parties regarding HR policies, programs, and systems. This role is crucial for maintaining data integrity within the HRIS system and ensuring compliance with SOX protocols and relevant legal requirements.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality and timely customer service in response to HR-related inquiries.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain the integrity of the HRIS system.
• Comply with SOX protocols and applicable legal standards within the company system.
• Conduct presentations for various employee groups.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources strongly desired, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in HR Management Systems.
• Understanding of basic principles of collective bargaining agreements.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct customer service, call center, or administrative roles, preferably in Human Resources. Relevant internship experience will be considered.
• At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources.
• HRIS experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
