A local utility company is seeking a detail-oriented Admin Assistant interested in accounting to join their team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing documents, processing invoices, and organizing documents.

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and 10-key data entry.

Hours

Part-time, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm or 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review invoice documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Operate computer systems to process invoice documents for payment.
  • Ensure all invoice information is correctly entered and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices.
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions and documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency in 10-key data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous accounts payable or billing experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
  • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
