A local family-owned meatpacking company in Hilo is looking for a Meat Packer to cook and pack meat products.

The ideal candidate will have previous meat processing, cooking, and/or hunting experience.

Hours

Full-time, Schedule varies between 5:00am-6:00pm based on production

Location

Hilo, Big Island

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and shred kalua pig
Label bags and boxes.
Pack meat products in bags and boxes for wholesale and retail.
Daily clean-up of machines and production area.
Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Meat cutting skills are preferred.
Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
Must be able to work on a team in a fast-paced work environment.
Able to work in a cold environment since much of the job will be in a walk-in freezer.
