Project Architect

A local company that has built close to 15,000 new homes in Hawaii is looking for a mid-level Architect to join their team! In this role, you will work directly under the Chief Architect and assist in the management and coordination of architectural planning, design, and production for residential developments.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree in architecture and 2 years of architectural experience including residential design.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$100,000 to $120,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic planning, land acquisition, land entitlements, and land planning and analysis.
• Assist in the development of preliminary architectural site plan designs.
• Lead in-house process of product development.
• Coordinate and oversee the selection and management of professional consultants.
• Use design software to prepare project designs and plans.
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and appropriate documents.
• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of architectural experience including residential design.
• Professional Architects license (State of Hawaii) preferred.
• Enscape rendering experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building systems, building construction, and site design/improvement.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe InDesign.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
