Construction Project Manager (Maui)

Our client is seeking an experienced individual to join their team as a Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee subcontract negotiations, review and processing of change requests, processing of monthly monetary draws, final review of shop drawings, procurement, commissioning, and weekly jobsite coordination meetings. On top of the base pay, there is a generous yearly bonus given.

We are seeking candidates with specific experience in vertical construction with projects starting at a minimum of $15m+.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

• Lahaina, Maui
• Kihei, Maui

Pay

$120,000 to $150,000 a year, Base pay

Responsibilities

• Create bid packages and review schedule information.
• Partake in training programs, continuing education, seminars, and conferences.
• Schedule meetings.
• Prepare monthly reports.
• Develop and maintain financial reports.
• Identify key subcontractors.
• Manage project closeout and post construction services.
• Implement safety and QC program.
• Study contract documents and develop scopes of work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or 5 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. 
• Familiarity with construction project management applications.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and multitask.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
