A medical facility in Kealakekua is seeking a Kitchen Helper to be a part of a dynamic kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will have basic cooking and organizational knowledge, a flexible schedule, and the ability to comply with food safety standards.

Hours

Full-time, Various Shifts/Hours | Sunday to Saturday, 6:00am-2:30pm or 10:30am-7:00pm

Kealakekua, Big Island

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Clean the kitchen areas and equipment to ensure a sanitary and orderly workspace.
  • Wash dishes and utensils promptly to keep up with the flow of kitchen operations.
  • Assist the cook with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
  • Support food service by helping to plate dishes and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Assist with cashier duties during peak hours or as needed to maintain efficient service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler card for Hawaii.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Must be able to obtain a TB card for health and safety compliance.
