Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an IT Project Coordinator! We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about project management and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of project timelines utilizing platforms like Smartsheet, Asana, or similar software.
  • Oversee project milestones and deliverables; proactively address challenges to maintain project progression.
  • Manage project logistics, including resources, tools, and data coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather, refine, and clarify project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Generate project-related reports, presentations, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Monitor and document project-related expenditures.
  • Handle vendor payment processing and coordination within project parameters.
  • Keep project records current and systematically organized.
  • Organize and lead regular stakeholder meetings to provide project updates.
  • Assist the project manager with various tasks such as risk assessment, change control, and quality management.
  • Facilitate effective communication and build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Execute administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, minute-taking, and managing project communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related discipline, or a comparable mix of education and practical experience.
  • Experience in the finance or insurance sector preferred.
  • Possession of CAPM, PMP, or other pertinent certifications preferred.
  • Proven track record as a Project Coordinator or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Acquainted with resource allocation and budgeting.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken communication.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
