We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's brewery team in the heart of Kona. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all production systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure optimal functionality of the brewery. The ideal candidate has well-rounded maintenance experience, works well within a team and independently, and has a passion for brewing!

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Weekends as needed)

Pay

$28 to $35 an hour, Temporary to Hire

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all production systems, including pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, boilers, air compressors, conveyors, packaging and process systems.
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing facilities, both at pubs and the brewery.
  • Work with contractors and outside service personnel as needed.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety procedures, policies, and codes.
  • Detect and report any unusual conditions, defective materials, or faulty equipment to the Supervisor.
  • Align, adjust, and calibrate machines according to specifications.
  • Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • Schedule and document all preventive maintenance work.
  • Monitor and keep the tool cabinet properly stocked.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment when necessary.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality according to company policy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and PLC-based control systems (Allen Bradley preferred).
  • Experience maintaining packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and process systems.
  • Ability to read and follow complicated drawings, specifications, and handbooks.
  • Preferred: experience with CMMS; MIG and TIG welding (sanitary welding preferred).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test and State and Federal Background check.
