Safety Manager (215876-5)
This position would be in charge of the safety, health environment and quality assurance for 2 separate companies. Ensuring working conditions are safe and meet legal requirements.

$80,000 to $110,000 a year, DOEResponsibilities
- To investigate accidents and ensure all documentation is updated.
- Implementation of any new legislation relating to health and safety.
- Facilitate all forms of risk assessment - manual handling, fire risk assessments / fire prevention, etc.
- Occupational health and safety surveys - noise, light, chemical substances.
- Health and safety awareness training, Site inspections and Toolbox talks.
- To complete prevention inspections on a regular basis and ensure records maintained of same.
- Annual H&S audits and Quality Assurance.
- Ensure construction accreditation is achieved and renewed.
- Devise and improve the training matrix for all staff, carry out H&S inductions and in-house training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain security pass to federal job sites.
- General NEBOSH Certificate.
- CSR Site Card.
- First Aid Basic Certificate.
