Asset/Liability Supervisor

Pay

$70,000 to $96,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Supervise the asset and liability management (ALM) process, including the development of financial reports analyzing the bank's balance sheet, profitability, and interest rate risk.
• Lead the asset and liability management process to maintain the integrity of the bank's interest rate risk model.
• Assist in the operation of the interest rate risk (IRR) model.
• Provide guidance on interest rate risk and stress test reporting to the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Collaborate with AL Manager and Financial Planning and Analysis in strategic planning, budget preparation, review, and delivery.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by preparing or reviewing ALM reporting and narratives for regulatory filings.
• Approve reconciliation reports of Treasury G/L accounts and deposit index rates, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Support Treasury team in meeting objectives and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related quantitative fields.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of supervisory or 2+ years of management experience.
• Strong understanding of asset and liability modeling, ALM processes, and interest rate risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
