Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an individual who is eager to take on challenging and rewarding projects to join their team as a Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project designs, preparing fee proposals, monitor project billing, and fostering a positive client relationship.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in project management.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay

$90,000 to $130,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical project management and design.
• Set goals, evaluate staff performance, and motivate team members.
• Foster positive client relationships and negotiate contract terms.
• Plan, organize, and manage scope, schedule, and costs of projects.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and project team.
• Direct and manage project team activities.
• Define and control project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare fee proposals and monitor project billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in project management.
• Previous experience with working on projects at the DOE.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and engineering software.
• Knowledge of project management principles and engineering practices.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Ability to read blueprints thoroughly.
