Civil / Environmental Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee and assist in completing all aspects of engineering and planning projects. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing designs, troubleshooting functions, and ensuring the projects are on schedule and within budget.

Qualified candidates will have their bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, 5 years of previous work experience, and have their Professional Engineer License.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$55,000 to $105,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with clients, contractors and involved 3rd parties.
• Review and process design requirements.
• Coordinate project team and determine project responsibilities.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting functions.
• Ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collect data and assist in research.
• Provide technical support to the engineers.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare project status reports.
• Travel to job sites (day trips, short-term, long-term).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Minimum 5 years of previous engineering and design experience required.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must possess a current and valid passport or be able to obtain one.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance (TWIC, Marsec, and TSA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work individually and with a team.
