Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team and help with the day-to-day duties in the accounting department. In this role, you will process payments, prepare statements, and complete bank runs.
Qualified candidates will have previous accounting experience.

Hours
Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-2:00pmLocation
Kalihi, Honolulu, OahuPay
$20 to $25 an hourResponsibilities
- Update and maintain vendor, customer, and job database.
- Prepare bank statements and complete bank runs.
- Prepare and process checks for multiple companies.
- Prepare union dues.
- Post cash receipts.
- Process credit card payments.
- Handle mail distribution.
- Handle data entry for AP invoices.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous accounting experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Analytical, detail oriented, and organized.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
