Customer Service Representative

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team and process orders received by phone, email, or in person. In this role, you will greet visitors at the front office, give updates on orders and follow up with customers if there are any issues such as delays.

Parking provided.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of office experience and 6 months of customer service or sales experience.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$17 to $18 an hour

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and relay messages.
• Print, copy, scan, and file documents.
• Process cash payments from customers and properly document paid invoices.
• Complete order forms for customers via phone, email, electronically, fax, or in person.
• Reconfirm orders with customers and provide estimated delivery date.
• Notify customers of any order delays.
• Follow up with orders that haven't been picked up.
• Review all completed invoices and research outstanding invoices.
• Correct and reprint any errors on invoices.
• Maintain office supplies and reorder as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Perform data entry.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• College degree in business preferred but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of office experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service or sales related work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Photoshop or other graphic design software.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Possess basic math skills. *Ability to pass background and drug test contingent upon hire.
