A local commercial contracting company is looking for an accounting professional to join their team and assist their busy accounting department with their day-to-day duties. In this role, you will review invoices, resolve discrepancies, process payments, and reconcile credit card payments.
The ideal candidate will have their associate's degree and 1 year of accounts payable experience.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pmLocation
Mapunapuna, Honolulu, OahuPay
$18 to $19 an hourResponsibilities
- Review invoices and allocate expense to the correct cost account.
- Verify vendor statements and maintain vendor files.
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Process payments on a timely basis.
- Reconcile credit card payments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting field.
- Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience.
- Previous experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Previous experience using Timberline software preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
