A locally owned and operated contracting company is seeking an estimator to join their team. In this role, you will visit job sites to take measurements and review plans to estimate project costs and maximize profitability.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of estimating experience and HVAC knowledge.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pmLocation
Mapunapuna, Honolulu, OahuPay
$25 an hourResponsibilities
- Prepare estimates, bids, and proposals for equipment and systems.
- Determine material, component, and subcontractor pricing.
- Review published plans and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions that may affect the estimate.
- Estimate all direct and indirect "in-house" labor needs.
- Meet with clients as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of estimating experience.
- HVAC knowledge highly desirable.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Hardworking and reliable.
