A local restaurant is seeking a lead cook to ensure the smooth operation of their kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Full-time, Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay

$23 an hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure that food prep and kitchen operations run smoothly.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Follow proper food safety and ensure the kitchen meets food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous verifiable experience as a Lead Cook or similar role in a professional kitchen environment highly preferred.
• Personal knife set is highly preferred.
• Must be familiar with different knife techniques.
• Must have a TB clearance and Food Safety Certificate.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
